If you’ve ever played around on Go Daddy, you know it can be quite addictive.  (And not just for their good lookin’ ladies).  Finding a URL that exists and that matches what you are doing is like going on a treasure hunt.  When Ordering Cupcakes was available I knew it must be fate…either that, or its a really crappy URL.  Here’s a few more I’ve been dreaming up*:

  • myfeetinyoursocks.com:  My feet were cold one night and C was wearing socks, so I tried to put my feet in his socks.  I thought what a perfect place to write about marriage.
  • shitmydadsells.com:  Obviously, taken from the popular ShitMyDadSays Both my father and father in law have spent their lives in sales.  People in sales really like to talk to other people about sales.  And what a great way to get our dads to share their knowledge with the world (and not just us.)  If you are interested, I’m somewhat serious about trying this…have a dad in sales?
  • recoveringperfectionist.com:   It’s a nice descriptor of me.  Or an addiction I continue to battle.  Sadly, only .ca remains even though the buggers haven’t even used the .com URL.
  • iliketobuild.com:  I’m trying to figure out what I like to do.  This is something that came to mind.
  • reciprociti.es / pitchs.in:  In a little side project, I’m working on a concept called peer-to-peer giving.  I’m still looking for a URL that doesn’t sound awful.  These are awful, especially when “pitchs” isn’t even spelled correctly, but I like playing with the other country domains.
  • boundbyground.com:  Again, it’s a bit awful for what I wanted – that peer-to-peer idea.  Still, it rhymes & I’m pretty easy to amuse.

*If you buy any of these just so I can’t, let me know.  That way I won’t anguish over them.
