A few mornings ago, I sat chugging my morning coffee while watching my daughter play in a bouncy chair with a plastic musical bug.  She was so happy and I was exhausted.  Since being in Arizona, our little one was having a rough time with her nighttime routine (down at 6pm, up at 9, 11, 1, 3, and 6).
My mom was washing bottles and I lamented, “Why can’t we just go back to the good ole’ days of nighttime sleep?”
Looking up from the washing, my mom looked at me, raised eyebrow, “And when exactly were those?”
Forgetting makes the world go round.
UPDATE:  And just as soon as I thought we’d never sleep again, Grandma threw her magic fairy dust and made the baby sleep until 3am, two nights in a row.
