Along with 8pm bedtimes, I’ve embraced the shower at night. Meaning when I wake and ready myself for work, with little one at my feet, I have one hair option. It’s called, “up”.
My hairdresser said, just try three little buns at night. One at the crown. Two Princess Leia-esque ones one the sides. (And if I’m honest, it’s called Lady Shrek.)
Sure, I thought. My super straight, fine hair.
But I did it. Lazily. With hair bands, not bobby pins – cuz I keep forgetting.

To my mega surprise, it works!
The lazy lowdown:
1. Wash hair.
2. Mousse. Don’t comb. I’m using Herbal Essence. Cheap.
3. Bun it. Bobby pins are probably better, but honestly the hair bands work.
4. Sleep,
5. Unravel, shake your hair, hairspray.
Voila! Curls…quick-enough-for-a-toddler hair!
